Three courses added to SD’s online program (Feb 15)


Three more courses have been added to the Secondary Division catalog and are now open to applications.

  • Foundations of Algebra
    Online (Zoom) · For students completing Grade 7 or 8
    For students planning to enter Algebra I or Integrated Math 1 in the fall. Develop problem-solving skills for algebra based on the Common Core approach.

  • Introduction to Geometric Thinking
    Online (Zoom) · Requires completion of Algebra I or Integrated Math I.
    Introduces selected topics in geometry through activities and projects. Recommended for students planning to enter regular or honors-level Geometry in the fall.

  • Data Science Lab with R & Python
    Online (Zoom) · Requires completion of Algebra II/Trigonometry or Integrated Math 3.
    For advanced high schoolers who want to explore the intersections of social science, computer science, and statistics. Students should have a basic background in understanding linear regression.
