Working at ATDP
ATDP unites teachers who love to teach with students who want to learn. We are in constant search of high-energy, passionate instructors, co-instructors, and instructional associates (IAs) for our summer courses. While each summer's faculty cohort is generally assembled by the previous winter, specific openings may remain unfilled, and we will keep promising candidates in mind for future summers.
Interested candidates may apply through UC Berkeley's recruitment portal, here: https://aprecruit.berkeley.edu/apply/JPF01190
If you are currently a student at UC Berkeley, please inquire with our office directly.
Secondary Division TAs
Teachers’ assistants in the Secondary Division are advanced returning students who demonstrate strong community involvement and academic leadership. Most are in high school or entering college, and many are concurrently enrolled as students in ATDP courses.
TAs assist course instructors in academic tasks such as scoring quizzes and tests, lab prep work, and individual and/or small-group tutoring. TAs may also be asked to take attendance, photocopy course materials, relay messages (by cell phone, e-mail or in person) to the ATDP office, and the like.
