2330 : Introduction to Programming in C

July 23rd - Final presentations

Sorry for not updating this page until class was over. There wasn't much for me to write though.... Today was final projects presentations day. Most of you guys did well on that, congratulations!
As I said in class, you should back up your files to your home computer - download all the programs you have written, homework, classwork, final project, etc. to your own computer, so that you keep a record of what you have done. You won't get to keep your cory.eecs.berkeley.edu account for very long, so do this before this week ends.
I already told you guys how you would do that, but I'll go over it quickly again: Connect to the cory.eecs.berkeley.edu server with your SSH File Transfer Client, login like you would normally; then change transfer mode to ASCII (the abcdef button near the top right corner on the window), and transfer your codes over. (Just drag and drop)
By the way, use only ASCII mode when you are transferring text files - that is, all your programs source code files. If you want to transfer your .out files too for some reasons, use binary. Unless you have a unix machine, you probably don't want to get those - because they won't work on windows machines. Besides, you could always re-compile your code to get the output executables again in the future when you get a UNIX account somewhere else.
Announcement: Oh, and there will be no class next Monday, 7/28. There is a link to that day on the calendar, that is because we originally planned to make up for the July 4th holiday on that day, but by popular demand, we took the 45-extra-minutes-for-4-days idea and went with it instead, as you guys know. So, don't mind that link on the calendar.
