I love playing sports, especially these sports, even though they're a little contraversial among people my age (why y'all gotta hate on golf)? Anyways, I guess out of these three sports I've been playing tennis the longest. I've played tennis since about fifth grade, and over the years I've gotten pretty good at it. After reaching a new level in my tennis game last summer, beating many people I thought I could never even take on,and playing varsity level tennis,I was torn between joining the tennis or golf teams. At the beginning of the year I thought I would be on the tennis team, try it out, they play golf my other three years. But the peer pressure by some people (Matt) gave in and I ended up trying out for the golf team which I thought I had no chance of making after I heard Coach Kim's introduction in February. I was introduced to golf in sixth grade by my good friend Bryan, and I've been hooked ever since. It's probably the hardest sport to play, as a friend of mine once said, "it's hard to be really good at tennis, but it's hard to even suck at golf." I'm getting better though, through lots of practice, and despite the temptation of joining badminton next year, I'm gonna stick with golf. Badminton? Well I just started playing it this spring, and I guess it's something about racquet sports, but I excelled at it and I liked it a lot. But since I can still play tennis and badminton recreationally, I'm gonna stick to a high school golf career. Anyways, click on the link to view information and links about each sport.
